Ducks that nest in trees? Yes, there are several varieties and these houses accommodate four of them. One size house has different size entrance holes to accommodate each variety. Incapable of creating a hole in a tree, the cavity-dwelling ducks are dependent upon what they can find. Mount on a tree or post over or near water. Coveside's house has a wire ladder to help the ducklings climb out. Mother duck calls the fledglings to the protection of the water at age one-day. A lower side guard protects the nest when the side is open for observation. The entire side opens for cleaning. Comes with wood chips for nesting material.
